This is one of my favorites!
Fun coffee drinks and knowing THIS boy IS worth all the emotional turmoil is what got us through the last couple of days apart from our girls.
We also went to the Desert Botanical Garden one day and the sunshine and seeing all these crazy plants God made was helpful too :)
Our girls FINALLY arrived on Jan 2! They were both pretty smitten with Judah from the get go.
Of course, Nana was too :) AND she gave us a full night's rest which was FABuLouS!
Chloe was up early the next morning to help feed Judah.
We also did our small gift-ing. Really things that we hoped they could entertain themselves with while we remained in Arizona.
Our next outing was to a candy factory. The chocolate was tasty...the tour could've been better, says the homeschool mom who has experienced a tour or two :)
Thurday evening, we took advantage of Nana's presence and left Judah with her, while Adam, the girls and I drove to the highest point in Pheonix to watch the sunset. It WAS AMAZING! The drive up the mountain was nothing to sneeze at and the drive down....I did some praying :)
Nana headed home Friday morning.
Those girls were so excited to get out to AZ.
