We met with a group called Christians in Boston. You never really know what to expect when visiting with a group different than your own. We were pleasantly surprised! I ran into someone I went to college with. Several knew Adam's dad. The singing was really good...especially considering the group was only about 50 strong. We all learned things in bible class and enjoyed the worship period and left with new friends :)
No, this wasn't the church we attended...but it was a beautiful building.
Boston Commons was bustling with visitors. Definitely THE place to be on a sunny Sunday afternoon. We walked around the park, rode the swan boats, played tag, watched some real ducklings, and played on the Make Way for Ducklings statues.
This is on the Swan Boats. It was cute little ride around.

Lunch was in China Town. We went to a Vietnamese place...everyone was Vietnamese inside and there was no English, so Adam was thrilled! Authenticity :) You will have to inquire of Adam what we ate, because I have no idea. The girls did enjoy tasting Pho.
We went to another playground...the Frog and Tadpole playground for a little while and then we headed back to the apartment. We were still "spent" from Saturday and wanted to rest up for the week ahead.
Autumn has become quite the gymnast on playground equipment. She recently conquered monkey bars and is moving onto flips and such.
When we got back to the apartment, I decided to go for a run. I got a little lost as is usual for me and why I ALWAYS run with my phone and thus a map :) I ran across a big bridge (because lots of others were doing it!), then around the Boston University Campus, and finally on the greenway I had been looking for. I saw several mama geese on their nests and a dad or two hissed at me as I went past.

If we were to move to Boston, this was my kind of house.
Some really cool photos can be made with reflections :)

Lots of great photos here! I love the gnarly tree with the ducks under it. AND did you notice that the house that you picked out is actually similar looking to the house in Dadeville? :) So you DO have some similar tastes to mine. LOL
ReplyDeleteI did NOT notice that! I suppose, perhaps, you could be right. HOWEVER, it is NOT Salmon (or pink or peach or blush) colored :)
