Catch Up

Quick catch up post:

Chloe still loves babies and in the absence of a baby can find a substitute in almost anything.  Yes, that would be a bottle of vinegar.
Chloe celebrated her 6th birthday.  She wanted to go to CiCi's pizza and have their dessert pizza, so I didn't even need to make a cake!  Granna took care of the standard birthday photo at her house though.

Just a few days later, Chloe lost her first tooth!
Autumn remains my girly girl, which I was afraid of at first, but I am now embracing :)

Had a few sunny days to do things like go to the zoo and the park.

Adam and I both ran in the Hot Chocolate 15K!  It was appropriately on Valentine's Day in downtown Nashville.  We started out together, but people dodging left me a little bit behind Adam.  Official Times:
Me - 1:21:53
Adam - 1:20:26
Yes, he beat me, but just barely and I am not too bitter :) We both had a great time!  His next race is the Country Music Half Marathon in April.  I am doing the Tom King Classic Half Marathon on March 7.  I clearly have the running bug.
February Winter to Remember:

Sledding down the sidewalk beside our house.
Learning that you can't make snow angels on top of ice.

 Snow day fun with Dad.

This car brought quite the dilemma to our street.  The owner abandoned it early in the morning, in front of our mailbox, which is smack in the middle of a hill.

There was eventually a 6 car lineup trying to get back down the hill without hitting this abandoned car.  Next ice storm, we WILL have some salt or sand in our garage.
Our winter was made perfect today when we got about an inch of snow overnight and were able to do normal winter things.  Hopefully, spring will blow in soon!
