Christmas was joyful...even though some of my tree lights refused to work. (Anyone know how to remove pre-lit tree lights? They are all TIED on each branch I think!)

Chloe's favorite gifts were lego friends, barbies, a pair of guns, and a pot holder loom.

Autumn's favorite by far was a CD player. She adores listening to music, but often there's too much talking going on from a certain sister to actually hear it.
Happy New Year! We are looking forward to more of these moments...

It was so much fun being there the other day! I loved going to the greenway and watching them ride their bikes.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got to witness the bike riding :) Two Daddy is great to go on nature walks with...all kinds of exploration!
DeleteWhat great pictures! Your house is beautiful and the girls look so happy. I have known people that just add a string of regular lights over the burnt out pre-lit tree lights. My little "Lilly tree" that we leave up year round had them and when they started burning out I took them all off - and that took a long time. I just use a regular string of lights now. Happy new year!
ReplyDeleteI added a string in the middle when I first put the tree up. The strand on top didn't go out until after the ornaments were on. I may try cutting them off next year. Adding lights makes a mess of wires in the middle...at least the way I did it :)
