Spring, Spring, Spring sang the groundhog...

These last 2 months have fluttered past me and I'm not even sure what happened!
In early March we took a trip to Bolivar, Missouri to see some good college friends of ours.  They have FOUR adorable girls.  Our children had a ball together.  Their oldest is just a little bit older than Chloe and the youngest was born in December.  There were 10 of us in a 2 bdrm/1 bath house for 5 days!  That was an experience!  The girls, with the exception of the baby, all slept in the same bedroom.  Fun all around!  We went to Silver Dollar City and an indoor bounce house while we were there.  It was such an encouraging trip! Lots of good visiting and playing and we can't wait to do it again!
Since that trip, we've been back and forth to Cullman, AL, cleaning out my grandparents house and now to Bowling Green, trying to go through all of their things.  Hence my absence from here :)  I did get to see Ellen and her family, which was pretty fantastic.  Hunter is a great little boy!  At first I didn't understand why Ellen and family decided to make the trip, but by the end of the weekend, I WAS SO GLAD THEY DID.  Have you ever cleaned out a 4000 sq foot house in a weekend? If you haven't and you like challenges, maybe you should add it to your bucket list.  I'm sure we looked like ants running around that house in circles, packing and repacking, lifting and heaving things.  It was a bonding experience for sure.  I've also gotten to spend lots of time with my dad which I have enjoyed immensely.  Been years since we have hung out like this.

I've tried to spend as much quality time with the girls as possible this past month.  They've been left here and yon, so I could put my muscles to work.  I'm told they usually behave well, but we're all out of sorts when we spend a month on the go.

In the midst of it all, we got our little garden planted!  We have peppers, tomatoes, peas, cilantro, and lettuce.  I still have some cucumber and squash seeds to plant.  The girls really enjoyed playing in the garden this year.  Maybe they will weed too?!

Most of the time our girls are great buddies.  Chloe loves to take care of Autumn.  Autumn mostly enjoys being taken care of.  They like to match and do things together.  If one is having a special treat, they usually ask what the other one is going to have.
One day I checked on Chloe during her "rest" time and this is what I found.  Doesn't look like it would induce dreaming to me.
This was Autumn's favorite activity for a few months.  She loves to pick her toes.  Odd?  Probably.  But, really, isn't it fun when you find a big ball of fuzz in there?!

We are all dressed up and ecstatic it is spring!  Adam is looking GREAT and so much healthier.  He is up to 50+ lbs lost!  Can you believe we both crave salads and are ALMOST enjoying running?!
