Thanksgiving 2012

Blessings Abound! 

I am thankful especially for these three.

They give me love when I am not loving. 

They make me see joy when I am not joyful.

They care for me and comfort me when I am sad.

They have taught me affection.

They bring liveliness and humor to my day.

Above all, they cause me to see God because they are made in 

His image.

I am SO thankful that this year, THIS guy can do this!  

One small step for most, one giant leap for him!

We tried to spend November learning what things we should be thankful for.  We painted lots of leaves and trees and talked about all kinds of things we can thank God for.  They got REALLY good at it!  The past week, Chloe has been sharing everything and saying thank you to Adam and I for very random things, which, I suppose was the goal :)

 This is our "thankful tree" and the favorite activity.  We tried to do this each night after supper and they girls usually did not let us forget.

We are spending this weekend traveling to see various family members.  Today we go to Adam's mom's for a meal and to help her decorate for Christmas.  Tomorrow we go to Adam's aunts to celebrate Malone Christmas.  Tomorrow afternoon we will head to my mom's in Alabama to see Mom and Ginger.  Lots of food and love to be shared!
