The first of our festivities...spending the day at Adam's mom's house. Adam smoked a turkey again this year. Tasty! Adam's mom gave us bunches of great sides to choose from. I experimented with green bean bundles and I thought they were excellent, though I heard the chef may be biased :)
Jason trying to look suave and like he helped with this smorgasbord :/

Next on the list, it was off to Franklin, TN to spend some time with Adam's extended family. Wonderful soup and company there :) Coming soon to our kitchen, green curry soup!
Finally, we headed to my mom's in Birmingham, AL on Friday afternoon. Leaps of fun had on the trampoline there! We also enjoyed visiting with Mom and Ginger.
Now, that Thanksgiving has been given its due, yesterday we got all the Christmas decorations down. Chloe was so excited to help! Autumn, however, suffered tremendously because I wouldn't hold her :/
Chloe liked a few branches and decided to decorate them quite fabulously...Unfortunately, the rest of the tree looked like this :) I thought about evening it out a little later, but thought better of it, as she probably won't do it like this again. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
I love that you are leaving the tree the way she decorated it. That takes willpower. :)
ReplyDeleteThe visit was fabulous. Thanks for coming. I've been putting away toys tonight and smiling about things they said or did.
Love you.
