We have taken our house off the market. Short story - There is no reason for us to move other than convenience. It would be convenient for us to be closer to our Woodland Hills family, to have more room when we entertain, and to have more room if God chooses to bless us with another baby. We don't want to sell our house at a loss, at this point, because it's not necessary.
Therefore, I am trying to embrace staying here for longer than we planned. The first project on my list was for Chloe and Autumn to share a room. This has been in the back of my mind since Autumn was born. I think sharing a room builds character :) Hopefully, it will promote love, friendship, and sharing. The picture to the right is the before. My mom came to help us rearrange and redecorate.
After: While I liked Chloe's room before, I think the way it is now is the perfect little girl's room! Both Autumn and Chloe are in twin beds set low on the floor which creates more play space. We have more large toy storage and some great decorations!

Next on my list, is to start going through all of the stuff from the storage room and get rid of things we discovered we don't need and finding places again for all the stuff we want to keep.

The first night in their new beds went well. They were pretty excited about sleeping in the same room. Adam and I were up late Saturday night, so Sunday morning when we heard the girls' door opening, Adam rushed in to get them back in bed before there was no hope of more sleep. Then I looked at the clock...it was 6:53! This morning, however, has been more what I expected...Autumn was up for the first time before 6 and has been fussing on and off ever since. It's now just before 7 and I told Chloe she could go lie in bed quietly with Autumn for a bit. We'll see how long that lasts :)

I like the wall owls best.
