Our Thanksgiving holiday was splendid!  We enjoyed lots of time with family and friends.  It's so good to reminisce and focus on God's blessings to us.

Now, it's on to December and Christmas time!  We've been trying to make memories and start traditions with the girls.  We went to the Nashville tree lighting and parade and had a blast!  I loved the bands, Autumn was intrigued by everything, and Chloe loved the BIG balloons.  We've also made salt dough ornaments and painted and glittered lots of things :)  And of course we've done our share of shopping.

I've tried to get some good shots of the girls with our Christmas tree, but they like to make it difficult.  Here's the best I have.
Chloe is testing the waters of discipline and boundaries frequently.  We are basically going through a power struggle stage it seems.  She is doing things she knows she is not allowed to do (squeezing toothpaste into sink, using loads of soap while washing hands, "playing" in the few forbidden cabinets we have for example).  Then when the discipline comes fits are thrown.  Adam and I are trying various techniques to get through this stage.  Today starts a taking away of all freedoms and adding them back in as she demonstrates obedience.  Teaching obedience is so much harder than just teaching the word "No."  Parenting is an ever evolving job and sometimes so daunting.
For those of you who haven't seen them in a while (and even those who have) my babies are growing up!
