Our summer vacations have now come to a close.  I'm sure there are still some weekend trips in our future, but the long hauls of summer are over.  Though I am glad to not be cooped up in a vehicle for 12 hours, it sure was nice getting to spend some quality & quantity time with Adam!  I think both girls really enjoyed the extra time with him as well.  I neglected to take ANY pictures at Singing School :(  We had a good time visiting with old friends and making a few new ones.  Major downside:  Autumn did NOT sleep!  Don't know if it was the new environment or my diet for the week (cafeteria food), but when we got home, her sleep patterns mostly returned to how they were.  Chloe had an excellent time having extra children to play with at any time and having Nana around to give her cookies and ice cream at every meal :)  A highschooler from our congregation traveled with us and Chloe LOVED having him along.  He was at her beck and call.  She is already quite adept at wrapping folks around her pinkie.  She also can lead singing with 2 hands and walks around the house singing her Do Re Mi's now.

Chloe played hide and seek in the suitcases when I was gathering up all of our travel wares.

While we were in OK, Autumn learned to crawl forwards and to wave.  The waving probably came from watching all the men lead singing throughout the week!  Since she has started moving, she can get to toys better, so she and Chloe play (sort of) together more.  This new moving phase makes getting her monthly growth shot a little more difficult.
We have started potty training!  Yes, I am excited, and yes, it has been easier thus far than I ever expected.  Chloe and I went out and bought a small potty on Saturday.  Apparently, that was all she needed!  She has been SO excited about it.  I wasn't planning to "start" full force until today, but Saturday and Sunday she voluntarily went several times.  So far, today, she has only had one "accident"...she's wearing pullups, so no biggie.  To top it all - she has already used her little potty to POO in twice!  I've heard that's not necessarily the norm.  We have panties at the ready, but apparently I need to come up with a potty reward pretty soon, since it doesn't look like it will be long before she is fully trained.
Chloe loves her Autumn and that alone brings me daily joy!
