Favorite things

Chloe really likes to read.  Her favorite books currently are Big Red Barn, I Spy, an Elmo search and find, Heads, and anything we check out from the library :)  I guess the library holds some intrigue so books from there are special.

Movement is a favorite activity at our house.  Chloe's favorite songs are The Lord's Army, Dem Bones, and Ring Around the Rosies...all done with motion.  Autumn is starting to crawl.  She's pretty adept at going backwards, but that is not always the direction she wants to go, so she still gets frustrated.  I'm sure that going forward will not be long in coming.

Even though we are going through a tremendous heat wave, we still occasionally go out and play.  Not for hours at a time, but enough time to use up some energy and remember how cool the house is.  Chloe's favorite things outside right now are digging in any dirt I will let her, driving her car, and PEDALing her bike by herself!  She still likes to go on walks, however she wants to be in the stroller and it's just TOO hot most of the time to push her and wear Autumn, so we don't go much.  Maybe soon, we'll get a double stroller or a wagon.

Chloe is growing up so quickly!  She really has lost most of her baby look and looks like a little girl.










Above all, Chloe's favorite thing to do is still play in the water! Be it watering the flowers, the baby pool, the Smyrna splash pad, or a bath...she loves it all.

Autumn is a pretty big fan of water too. When she sees us getting the bath ready she kicks her legs and reaches for the water and then giggles with glee as we carry her, naked, to the tub.

One of Adam's favorite things is next week...Singing School! We leave early Saturday.  See you when we get back!
