I often hear people say that chores can wait for our babies won't be babies for long. I've tried to remember that and learn that our house doesn't have to always be clean and meals don't always have to be served on the hour. I realize these few years while our children are young are to be cherished since in a short time it will be harder to get them to "want" to spend time together or with us. I love my girls and joy they bring me! Yes, we have difficult moments....and sometimes days...but those are rare in the big scheme of things. Learning to handle a toddler has been a little harder than I expected. Training does not seem to come naturally for me, but we are learning and it's getting more doable. Now, for some special moments in photos!
Chloe has learned several good places to hide now. Here she is hiding amongst my clothes :)
We have a certain song we sing..."Where is Chloe? Where is Chloe? Where is she? Where is she?...." (Tune: Are you Sleeping?) She LOVES this! It is so cute to hear her sing it!
When we went on our beach vacation, Chloe had some what we call floaties AKA the inflatable things that go on children's arms. This day she was going "swimmin" with her floaties on :)
We girls spent a few days in Bowling Green a couple of weeks ago. Both to see Granna and Papa and to spend some time with Hunter. His family is moving to Texas in the next month, so it may be a while before Chloe and he get to play together again. Chloe taught Hunter how to cook. They made eggs, muffins, tea, and coffee among other things. Chloe really enjoys these play kitchens. Adam and I decided not to get one at our house because LOTS of places we go have one, so it can be a novel thing at those places. Plus, we don't really have the space for one :)
Granna and Papa invested in a BIG pool for the week we were all going to be there. We didn't have much success getting it to "rise as it filled", but we still enjoyed it! We shot all kinds of things with these water blasters. One time I made the mistake of telling Hunter we should shoot at people walking by and then had to holler quickly that I was kidding :)
Love between children is precious!
Chloe spent a few days at Nana's house last week during their VBS. Autumn and I got lots of quality time together as a result. I also got some deep cleaning done which I was really proud of! Autumn is getting out of the baby stage much too quickly. She's already starting to look more like a little girl! She has also moved into 12 month clothes.
They are adorable!!! I love the pictures and stories that go with them. Thanks for sharing!
