Finally...a new post!

Here I sit on the couch typing...this is momentous because it means Adam bought us a new LAPTOP! I am very excited! This makes internet surfing (blogging, recipe finding, emailing) much more convenient for me :) Hopefully, this means the blogging hiatus is officially over. Adam was bringing his work pc home, but by that time in the evening my creative juices have stopped flowing.

I was trying to get a decent photo of Autumn and tummy time, but instead I got a pretty pose by Chloe :)

Autumn is quickly learning to fend for herself. Chloe has been taking toys from her because she wants to play with them. Autumn has learned to hold on pretty tightly now! In the following pictures, Chloe is eating an after nap snack of raisins. It looks as if it won't be long before Autumn is "stealing" things from big sister!

Since I last wrote, some of my outdoor projects have been completed. The grass has been mowed a few more times and my flower and herb beds have been spruced up. The curb appeal has definitely improved! Next on my list is a sandbox for Chloe and hopefully fencing in the backyard. Chloe really likes to dig in the dirt and since I've worked on my flower beds, her digging spots have been taken up by plants, rather than weeds.

Autumn is sitting up, rolling over, AND getting her first tooth! She seems to have a very happy personality. She wakes all smiles in the mornings and as long as she has someone's attention, she loves to show off her dimples.

Chloe is really starting to put sentences together. It's so much fun to carry on a conversation
with her now, mostly because of the surprising
things she comes up with or remembers. When Adam gets home from work she likes to sit on the couch with him and "talk".

Last week, we girls made a trip to AL to see my grandparents. We got some work done for them and got to have an enjoyable visit with them. Hunter and Ellen, my dad, and my aunt and her boys were there as well. Chloe really enjoys playing with Hunter. They played ball, ran around the yard, and dug in the garden together. Hunter and Ellen spent the night at our house that night and played with us the next morning. Even though it was a rainy, nasty day outside, Chloe and Hunter had a BLAST inside!

Yes, I am the best mother ever! I let them jump on the bed. Don't judge, the bed w/ mattress was 25 bucks and it's the ONLY one they can do that on :)

Playing Hide and Seek....Chloe's under there too.
Hope all of you are having a wonderful spring!

  1. Chloe looks very grown-y in that pic of her and Hunter jumping on the bed. I think its the jeans.

Autumn will be in charge soon I think. :)
