Easter Weekend

Happy Spring, Everyone! This weekend was loads of fun for all of us! Chloe and I spent Autumn's afternoon naptime dying eggs. The part she enjoyed most was stirring the eggs around in the cups...not that the eggs changed color or putting stickers on them or even coloring on them with the "magic" crayon.

Adam has been working SO much lately that the girls have barely seen him, because he has been going in early and coming home right at bedtime. However, Friday he came home early :) We all had a lovely evening together getting ready for a few of Chloe's friends to come over on
Saturday.

This is Chloe's first "real" pony tail! It stayed up very prettily...until she moved :)

Adam usually takes care of Chloe's bedtime routine and I realized I'd never taken a picture. He was even the first one to ever dry Chloe's hair! One time when I was drying her hair, he came in and said, "That's not how I do it."

Saturday morning 2 of Chloe's friends joined her for an Easter egg hunt! They really enjoyed themselves :) Autumn slept through most of the festivities, but joined us for our brunch picnic in the living room floor. Like Chloe, she's usually around whenever we decide to eat.

Saturday evening Adam and I had a couple over who have moved here and started worshiping with us. Of course, Chloe thought they came to see her, and took over the spotlight for much of the evening! She's definitely a social butterfly in the making.
Yesterday we enjoyed worshiping with our family at Woodland Hills and blessing among blessings we ALL got a 2 hour nap!
We are still struggling with Autumn's night time sleep. I KNOW it is not a hunger issue and once a week or so, she sleeps from 8 PM until 6:30 AM, so I am certain she is capable. I think that makes it even more frustrating.
In 2 weeks, we are going on our first vacation as a family of four. My grandparents in NC rent a condo at the beach in May. This year, since Pop is still in rehab, they won't be using it. So, we are going to use it and also get in some visiting time with Mom and Pop! I am VERY excited, both about the beach and getting to see Mom and Pop again. My mom and her husband are going with us to help out with the girls and make for a more relaxing time for Adam and I and so they can see Pop again. Lord willing, there will be blessings all around!

  1. Great photos!! Only thing is, something has changed and I can't make them bigger any more...
Before, I could click on them and they'd get big and make it easy to borrow some of them.
That one of Autumn lying down is gorgeous! Is that her sitting on the quilt? If so, don't tell her I thought she was a boy. :)

  2. When I post now it is different...it's been a while since I posted and I think they changed something. Haven't figured it all out yet. No, that is NOT Autumn...it IS a boy!
