Christmas is just around the corner. This time of year has always flown by for me, but my this year it's moving in at warp speed! I haven't even gotten my Thanksgiving post in yet :) Guess I better get to it!
God has blessed our little family SO much! I am grateful for...
- Adam: love, providing for us, patience, daddy skills
- chilly weather outside...the cuddling, the hot cider/chocolate, christmas lights/decorations, walks with Chloe
Of course, the list could go on and on as God has given us many things, but these are at the top of my list this year.
Adam took the whole week of Thanksgiving off! I was SO excited about that! We spent Monday of that week in Cullman, AL at Grandma's house with Ellen's family. We had a great time! We enjoyed visiting, but we also had quite the ping-pong tournament. Marquette ended up Champion, but I am certain Grandpa and I will take him on again come Christmas time :)
We spent Thanksgiving at Adam's parents home with his brother, Jason, and his girls, and Cindi's mom. Adam smoked a turkey which was quite yummy. The meal was yummy, but the best thing was watching Chloe interact with everyone. She LOVES her cousins and playing with them. They have really taught her how to pretend. Her favorite toy at Nana's house is the doll stroller :) She got to sit at the kid's table this year and even ate rather well...meaning she ate more than JUST rolls! As usual, the girls helped Cindi decorate the tree. Chloe spent the night at Nana's because we were coming back Friday for Malone Christmas.

- Adam: love, providing for us, patience, daddy skills
- Chloe: smile, conversations with her, her playful and loving spirit
- Autumn: her new baby smell, sleeping for multiple hrs at a time, cuddliness
- our extended family
- our Christian family at Woodland Hills...we have leaned heavily on some of them these past few months!- our health:It may sound like a cliche, but it's not. Daily life is so much smoother when no one is sniffling or sneezing. Also good to know that Daddy is doing well and G'ma is doing pretty well.
- SLEEP...though it may seem like not enough at times
- heat in our home- chilly weather outside...the cuddling, the hot cider/chocolate, christmas lights/decorations, walks with Chloe

Friday, Autumn got to go shopping with me :) We just went to Kohls to pick up a few things. After our little shopping trip we headed back to Gallatin. Autumn got to meet Grandmother and Grandaddy and all the aunts, uncles, and cousins on the Malone side. Busy day for her. It was enjoyable to catch up with everyone.
Looks like a lovely family time. I see Chloe is learning Wii...
ReplyDeleteShe wasn't actually doing anything...it wasn't even on, BUT that's what the other girls had been doing all day, so once they stopped, she thought she'd try it. (Wow...that was a Paul-like sentence.)
ReplyDeleteI have informed Quette that he has been challenged to a rematch. I'm sure he'll be up for it. Kenzie sure has grown up since your wedding and has LOTS more hair now ;) And I found that Wii sports was the easiest for Hunter to "learn" to play...just had to make sure the control was FIRMLY attached to his wrist when he played baseball. She could probably do pretty well at baseball and boxing. With boxing all Hunter did was shake the controller :)
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I know I have seen Kenzie since then but it's always a surprise to see how much she has grown up :)
