God is good! My OB appt yesterday turned out VERY well. The placenta has moved up and away from the cervix, so there should be no problems with that during delivery. Thanks to all of you who have prayed about that for us...your prayers have been answered! Adam and I got to see our little one on an u/s screen again too! He/She is 2 lbs 15 oz at this point and all looks good. I think our new little one has the same nose as Chloe :)
We had a good time visiting with my mom this weekend. She almost always redecorates a portion of our house while she is here. This time, she took on the door out to the deck. I had not figured out what sort of window treatments to do there, so for over a year now, our living room has been open for all the neighbors to see. We decided on chocolate brown, crushed taffeta curtains. It looks very nice! The best part about having curtains is our backyard neighbor constantly leaves his back porch light on through the night. That light must be made so that a helicopter can land in his backyard if need be! Now, our living room is quite dark when it is supposed to be.
We also made a trip to Portrait Innovations to get some photos of Chloe made. I was so glad Adam came with us. Otherwise, my mom and myself would probably have fainted from indecision. I think I have gotten to be a pretty good photographer, but that is in comparison to the places we have been before. This place did a FabULous job. Here are some of our favorites:
Chloe decided that we didn't need to see her in the next one :)
Chloe was VERY excited to get to sit in this chair! She's just learning how to rock herself, so she couldn't wait to try.

The one with the pigtails is my absolute favorite! Our baby has gotten SO big! She has really turned into a little girl. Guess that's why we're having another one :)

Chloe is so adorable! Ya'll did good!
ReplyDeleteWe do our best!
ReplyDeleteShe is SO big!! How is she so big? Y'all need to invest in some bricks to put on her head, to keep her from growing so fast.
