Here I am at 28 weeks :) Still feeling good, but REALLY looking forward to some fall weather! Fall has always been my favorite season, but boy will I rejoice when it arrives this year!
Chloe and I braved the heat to go to the zoo again on Wednesday. Carousel rides are free on member mornings, so we've been riding each time to see if she can grow to like it while it's free. She's gone from not even being willing to TOUCH the animal we stand beside to actually riding the giraffe! Now, the giraffe does not go up and down, but surely we have an avid roller coaster rider-to-be on our hands.
I met a lady who makes slings and nursing covers last time we were at the zoo. This time, she met me and we exchanged goods. Adam's hard-earned money for a sling and a cover. I LOVE the fabric and I really think we will enjoy this style of sling. It's one of those that wraps around your waist and your shoulders, so the weight should be spread out pretty well. It's large enough for Adam to wear it too, but it's kinda flowery...Adam could look good in flowers, don't you think?
And the most exciting news of the week...we hired a teenager who worships with us to mow our yard for the rest of the summer! I'm SO happy! I really don't mind doing it, because I really like the finished product, but it's too hot and I'm too pregnant. Adam's allergies are too bad for him to enjoy it at all. So, what teenager doesn't need a little money...especially one who is wanting a car?! Plus, teenagers are a little cheaper labor than these "pro" landscaping people :)
Be sure to enjoy these last few weeks of summer weather! It's a blessing to be able to go outside and sweat! There shalt be no complaints about the cold weather in our house this year, though!

After his reaction to the first curtains.... NO I don't think Adam will go for wearing the floral sling.
ReplyDeleteThe sling is prettier than the curtains were...
ReplyDeleteI definitely think Adam can pull off flowers.
ReplyDeleteShe CAN"T be related to Hunter if she does not like the carousel thats for sure! We have to get one the ones that go UP and DOWN and do it more than once! Just send her with Papa and Granna. They will teach her!
ReplyDeleteYou look awesome!!!!
