Christmas 2010 (Final edition)

God blessed us with snow this Christmas!  I think I have had one other white Christmas (in NC, when I was lots smaller).  We got a couple of inches and the weather outside could have been considered frightful because it was SO cold and the wind was blowing...reminds me of a Christmas carol :)

Adam and Chloe fixed us a Christmas breakfast of bacon, eggs, and pancakes.  Adam bought a griddle on Black Friday and broke it out on this occasion.  Everything was perfectly cooked.  A result of even griddle cooking and maybe Adam helped it along a little ;)

After breakfast, we opened our gifts from one another.  This was kind of a long process, since we let Chloe take her time and play with each toy in between.  I had loads of fun shopping this year.  Chloe likes everything right now, so she's not too difficult to shop for.  I came across some good sales and was able to get Adam some surprises this year.
These were Chloe's favorites...
a stroller, a baby doll with clothes,
and a vacuum cleaner.
After our quiet morning at home, we made the trek to Gallatin to have Christmas with Adam's parents and our nieces.  What noise a group of 4 girls can make!  In the picture below, Chloe got one of those pillow pets from Cindi.  ALL of the girls decided to lay on it!

Chloe spent the night at her Nana's house on Christmas.  She LOVES to play with her cousins and is never ready to leave when we are.  So, Sunday we got to have some quiet time with Autumn.

New Year's Day brought the BIG Holloway celebration.  All of us made it this year, so it was a large gathering.  Gifts were exchanged, ping pong and a little Rook were played, and much catching up was
done.

Chloe liked to help everyone open their gifts.  She really got the hang of ripping up wrapping paper by the time all of our christmases were over.
